The next external Judges Critique is on the 30th March. The theme is: Creative Expression and it’s for digital images only, not prints. As ever there is also the Open Category where you can submit images that do not adhere to the module’s theme.
 
Just a reminder that the closing date for entries is this Monday, the 9th March. 
 
Thank you to those who have already submitted their entries. I will acknowlegde receipt of these shortly, along with the entries that are about to be submitted. If you have not recieved an acknowledgement by a day or two after the closing date do contact me via the email below to check that I have recieved them.  
 
The full guidelines are on our website, but in brief, you can submit up to three entries spread across the two categories of the ‘Theme’ and ‘Open’, in any permutation.
 
Images should be resized to a maximum of 1600 pixels wide by 1200 pixels high and labelled with a caption. If we have a surfeit of entries we will reduce the number of entries in the Open Category, as they can be entered into another critique later. Judges have commented on how a good caption indicates to them the purpose/subject of the picture and it assists them in judging whether the photographer was successful.

If you need help with any of the above, just ask - we would rather have your entries in the review than have them excluded on some technicality.
